An architectural firm with over thirty years experience, Ar.K.C.George & Associates forms marked presence in the bustling cityscapes of South India.
We strive to deliver projects that are a culmination of well conceived thought processes, harmonious team work and precise execution. In short, we believe our work stands as testament of good design encompassing utility and durability.
We function as an interactive office with a team approach that allows us to maintain consistent involvement of appropriate disciplines and staff in all phases of a project’s planning, design and development. Our team consists of a multi-disciplinary staff of architects, engineers and various other support staff. The firm was founded in 1985 under the partnership name of ‘Santhosh & George’ for the professional practise of architecture.
The firm’s commissions and staff strength grew steadily and in 2006, it became an independent entity under the leadership of Ar.K.C.George.
Ar.K.C.George completed his B.Arch from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET) in 1981. He worked for a year in Kozhikode and thereafter for two years in Delhi.
George was one of the first architects from Kerala to receive a Japanese Government scholarship for extensive study and on-the-job training in Japan in the area of architecture, landscape planning and interior design, in the late eighties.
He has also undergone exclusive training in designing projects like amusement parks of the scale of Disneyland, industrial expo buildings, museums and so on. Ar. K. C. George is an Associate of the Indian Institute of Architecture (AlIA) Bombay and registered with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. He is a recipient of the ‘BRAND ICON’ 2015 award in the field of architecture for the first time, from The Times Group. The firm is a partner of the UK based ‘Magus Designs’ which operates from its office in Dubai from 1984 onwards.
